Ti-6242 Titanium Rod
Ti-6242 Titanium Rod is a high-performance α-β titanium alloy known for its outstanding high-temperature strength, creep resistance, and corrosion resistance. With a nominal composition of Ti-6Al-2Sn-4Zr-2Mo, this alloy is specifically designed for applications that require both strength and stability up to 540°C (1000°F).
Compared with conventional titanium alloys, Ti-6242 titanium rod provides enhanced performance in aerospace, defense, automotive racing, and power generation industries. The alloy’s excellent fatigue strength, fracture toughness, and oxidation resistance make it an ideal choice for demanding environments where reliability is critical.
Our Ti-6242 titanium rods are available in customized dimensions, precision-machined to meet ASTM, AMS, and ISO standards. Each product comes with full Mill Test Certificates (MTCs) and can be delivered in annealed or solution-treated & aged conditions according to customer requirements.
